Sailing by Sam
Sam delivers Royal Yachting Association Keelboat Courses & Powerboat Tuition, Experiences and Tasters/Refreshers with Torquay Watersports.
Sam is a qualified female RYA Senior Dinghy/Keelboat Instructor & RYA Powerboat Instructor who has more than 30 years experience teaching in an assortment of boats and locations. Having learnt, raced and mainly taught in Torbay she has a wealth of local knowledge.
Legacy
Legacy is a Colgate 26 designed specifically for teaching. She has a large spacious cockpit and can accommodate up to four pupils. On courses we limit the numbers to 3:1 to ensure plenty of time on the helm. The following two day courses are available:
RYA Level 1 - Start Sailing
RYA Level 2 - Basic Skills
RYA Level 3 - Better Sailing
RYA Seamanship Skills
RYA Day Sailing
Experiences, Tasters & Refreshers
These bespoke sessions are also available for up to four people from 1 hour. Ideal to experience Torbay from the water, see if sailing is for you or practise a particular skill. Please contact us to chat about your request.
